Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Taylor has spent the last decade of her life in the vibrant city of Chicago. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College.
With a passion for holistic health, Taylor wants to see her clients thrive not only emotionally but socially, physically, and spiritually. In her sessions she seeks to listen, empower, and equip her clients with tools and resources that best serve them. She also believes that hope, joy, and laughter can be healing for the soul.
Taylor draws from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and trauma-informed therapies while using a client centered approach. She seeks to help clients adopt healthy thought patterns and actions that are healing and transformational for themselves and those that surround them. With a passion for serving under-resourced and underserved communities, she is also looking forward to working with Chicago’s migrant population, especially the Spanish speaking community.
In her free time Taylor enjoys taking long walks, playing chess, volunteering with her church community, and cooking with her family and friends. Wherever you are in your journey she would be honored to support you as you pursue growth, healing, and wholeness.
