Olivia LaPointe is a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about empowering clients to create meaningful change in their lives. She earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and has five years of experience in the mental health field, including two years as a school social worker and three years providing therapy in private practice settings.
Olivia enjoys working with clients of all ages and has a particular passion for supporting adolescents and teens. She specializes in treating mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and trauma.
Her therapeutic style is warm, honest, and collaborative. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and person-centered therapy to meet each client's individual needs. Olivia is committed to providing culturally competent and inclusive care. She strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected and understood.
Outside of her clinical work, Olivia enjoys listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her cat.
